Prince Of Persia Developer Diary : Open World and Story

Ubisoft are out with there new developer diary for there new Prince of Persia game which is being developed at there Montreal studio. The video talks about the new open world gameplay, the story and the “on demand dialogue” feature in the game.

The game will have an open world gameplay. To get from one point to another, you will have the choice to choose from any of the path that you can find. You will be not be restricted to following a path to your destination. Each area in the game will have its own feel and some story related to the journey. And there will be different ways to complete the adventure. In the earlier games, there was no way of knowing which route to take to reach your next objective. In this game, you can ask your companion and he will release a shining light which is going to show you the direction that you can take.

The “On Demand Dialogue” feature is going to be pretty cool. The character can talk to ‘Elega’ and the get to know a lot of things. The things and conversation will vary depending on the position in which they are. He can also get hints on what to do and how to do in certain situations or puzzles. So mainly, it is like a hint system and a way of getting background information. So the game definitely offers a lot of choice to players and lets him choose what to do and how to do. This will keep the player very much immersed in the game.

The new Prince Of Persia comes out on December 2nd for Xbox 360 and PS3 while the PC version will be out on December 9. Check out the System Requirements to make sure your system can run the game.
