Command and Conquer fans who were waiting for the new FPS game called Tiberium are sure going to be disappointed. A few months ago, the game got delayed by EA but now, the game has been officially cancelled. The game was cancelled as it became a victim of internal quality control audit by EA. The game was not moving on the track of high standards which was set for it. The game was being developed in EA’s Los Angeles Studio where work is also going on for Command & Conquer Red Alert 3.
According to Electronic Arts Executive producer Mike Verdu
The game had fundamental design challenges from the start. We fought to correct the issues, but we were not successful; the game just isn’t coming together well enough to meet our own quality expectations as well as those of our consumers
Many people must be disappointed but it is obviously a good decision, no point in releasing something if you yourself know that it is not going to perform well.

You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned
. I’m not too sure how the fans of the game would’ve reacted to a FPS version of a RTS cult game.
